Thunder (by Rhodry)

May 16, 2006

Last night the thunder was very loud. I woke up. When loud noises come I want to hide. I hid in the kitchen. I could hear the noise. I went in the bathroom. It came there too! Susanna said, "It is all right, Rhodry. The thunder will not hurt you." It was not all right! I went down the stairs. I scratched on the door. Scratch scratch scratch! Susanna got up. She said, "Do you really want to go out, Rhodry?" I want to hide! She came down the stairs and opened the door. It was raining very hard! I did not want to go out. Susanna said, "Come back upstairs, Rhodry." I did not want to go upstairs but I did. Finally the thunder went away and I went to sleep.

My friend Chamois has a door that goes to a hiding place. I want a door like that! Maybe next time there is thunder I can go to Chamois's house.

Your friend,

Rhodry
