October License Plate ReportOctober 31, 2007 Alabama. It was way back at the beginning of the month -- I was poking along the Edgartown–West Tisbury Road and thinking of passing the SUV in front of me, when I took a second look at the license plate: Heart of Dixie, Alabama, OK. Then I pulled out, gunned my four cylinders, and passed. Last year I didn't spot anything new in the last three months of the year, but as they say, it ain't over till it's over. By the way, I was right about the last T-shirt laundry of the year. The laundry I did yesterday had only four T-shirts in it, and three of them were long-sleeved.
