Old Streak DiedMarch 13, 2006 FreeCell streak died this morning at 121 -- which is 16 better than my previous personal best, so I'm only a little sad. When I realized that #122 was unsalvageable, I did a screen capture and printed it out for the record. Shoulda paid more attention to those two red 8s stuck at the top of the rightmost column . . . I had no trouble winning the rematch. As I recall, when the last long streak died at 105 I tried three times to win the spoiler and finally gave up. Later this morning I got my first-ever spammish e-mail from the website. Someone claiming to be named Kevin sent me a couple dozen URLs, all of which seem to be about gambling -- how to recover from it or how to play more I'm not sure, but I suspect the latter. Current streak is 5, but I'll spare you further updates till I know it's gonna fly.
