I Went to the Barn! (by Rhodry)

June 12, 2006

I went to the barn today! Diva got out of her paddock. I said, "Don't go anywhere, Diva!" and she ate grass until Susanna caught her. I am a helpful puppy!

I ran up the hill to see my friend Peg and my friend Kenny. I said "RRR-rrrrr-RR! Rrr-RRRR!" Susanna said "He wants to know how graduation went." I do not know what that means! I was saying "I like cookies! Where is Tanner?"

Sometimes Tanner rides in Kenny's truck. When I see the truck coming, I run up the hill to see if Tanner is in the truck. I like to play with Tanner. She is a yellow Lab. I am a Malamutt!

Yesterday and the day before yesterday I could not go to the barn. Susanna said "Uhura Mazda is broken. You must stay with her and keep her safe. I have to ride the bicycle to the barn and if you run all the way you will be a very tired puppy." I wanted to come but I stayed with Uhura Mazda. She did not run away!

Today Susanna and I went for a walk. We saw our friend Jeremy with a very old puppy. "Have you seen this dog before?" Jeremy said. Susanna said no. I said "RRrrr." I did not know that dog. That dog did not have any tags or any collar. Maybe that dog was lost. My friend Martha came in her big red jeep. Jeremy and the old puppy got in. They went to a puppy house. Maybe if I was lost I would go there, but I am not lost. I know where I am!

We walked down the hill and along the road. There was Uhura Mazda! I thought we would get in and drive away but Susanna said "We have to pay Larry for making Uhura feel better." We went in the garage and saw other sick cars and some cars that are feeling better now. Then we went to the barn. I am glad I do not have to be a left-behind puppy any more!

Your friend,

Rhodry
