I Like to Play! (by Rhodry)

October 03, 2007

It was dark. Susanna was looking at a box with pictures on it. I wanted to play. I looked at Susanna. She said, "Do you want to go out, Rhodry?" I did not want to go out! Susanna walked to the door and opened it. I did not go out. I said, "Rrrrr-RRR!" Susanna sat down. I picked one of my toys and dropped it on her foot. Susanna said, "Do you want to play, Rhodry?" Susanna is a smart puppy! She threw the toy and I caught it. I made it squeak. I got another toy. Susanna grabbed its feet and pulled, but I did not let go! Then she tossed it up in the air. I ran to catch it but I slipped! Some of the floor is slippery. Some of the floor is not. I do not like to run on the slippery floor! Susanna said, "Twelve-year-old puppy!" We went outside and played on the deck.

Then Susanna said, "I have to go back to work, Rhodry." I know what that means! That means she looks at the box with the pictures on it. Then she is very quiet and she does not play. I played by myself. I have a bed. I do not like to sleep on the bed, but I like to play with it. I grabbed it and shook it and it fell in my water! Susanna laughed very hard. I do not know what that means! She said, "You are a very old puppy, Rhodry. I am glad you are my puppy." I like that! She gave me a cookie. Then I went to sleep on the deck.

Your friend,

Rhodry
