O Joy! O Rapture!April 15, 2007 I don't owe the feds any more money! I have enough money in my checking account for my first quarterly of 2007! The first quarterly payment of the year is always due on April 15. On April 15 my checking account is inevitably wiped clean by paying what I owe on the previous year. In a good year I manage to scrape up the first quarterly by the middle of May. This year I can do it on time. Hmm. I don't want any IRS clerk to crack her skull falling off her stool. Maybe I'll hold off a few days.
