Travvy Is One!February 27, 2009 One what? you may ask. It's his first birthday. He's one year old. He started the day before sunrise by throwing up a sock. It wasn't the first he'd thrown up. For some reason the yellow rubber gloves he eats, all three of them, have come out the other end, but the socks he throws up. Fortunately he seems to have a strong constitution. We thank papa Trouble (Masasyu's Here Comes Trouble) and mama Mayhem (Masasyu's Bound and Determined) for their wonderful Travvy boy. He's Masasyu's Fellow Traveller to the big wide world, and Trav, Travvy, Travellocity, Kid, Pupster, and You Silly Puppy to me. My brand-new first-ever digital camera arrived earlier this week. I'm in love, enthralled, and all that good stuff. So today I looked after the horses at Stonehedges Farm while Trav played with his best buddy, Tillo, and here are some of the results. I have learned that 32MB is a pretty puny memory card. Fortunately I ordered a 2GB one when I bought the camera.

Trav and Tillo play tug-of-war with a Jolly Ball. Don't tell them that Jolly Balls are for horses. Tillo introduced Travvy to them quite a few months ago. Tillo has an extensive collection. Travvy only has one of his own (on indefinite loan from a horse he used to know), but Tillo's pretty good about sharing. Happy birthday, Travvy!
