I Am a Hard Worker! (by Rhodry)February 04, 2006 Susanna is taking care of more horses. This time we stay at home and go visit the horses two times a day. I have to get up very early. I do not like to get up early. I am not a morning dog! But Susanna says, "OK, you can stay here if you want, I'll be back soon," and I wake up and wag wag wag (not too fast), and she says, "OK, you can come too." There is a puppy horse who is not much bigger than me but she smells like a horse. Her name is Contessa. She likes to chase me! I like to bark at her. The puppy horse has a friend named Sterling. He looks at me but does not like to run. Yesterday Susanna put an empty feed bucket outside the fence. Contessa and Sterling tried to reach the bucket. I barked at them. I saved the bucket! I licked the bucket after that. It tasted very good. My friend Tillo does not live at this place but there are two other puppies. They live in a basement and they are very big. We tie them outside then go take care of the horses. Then we take each one for a walk in the woods. They have to be on a leash, but I can run loose. Sydney tries to eat the leash. Susanna says, "No, no!" and he stops. Maizie is even bigger than Sydney. She is almost as big as the puppy horse! When we walked with Maizie, I went to smell something in the woods. Susanna said, "Rhodry! Come here! Rhodry, come here right this minute!" Uh-oh. Maybe Susanna was mad. But she was not too mad. She gave me a cookie and said, "Incredible disappearing puppy!" We have to go there again tomorrow. Tomorrow night I am going to a party at Tillo's house! I like parties. I like Tillo too, even when she licks my face. Your friend, Rhodry
